Course Description
What is an ethical leader and why is it important to highlight that distinction? The ELITE Leadership Series begins with an overview of the Ethical Leader. The primary objective of the program is to provide a foundational understanding of ethical leadership and to help students articulate the characteristics and attributes of ethical leaders. This course provides a broad overview of ethics and ethical challenges. Through examples in the workplace, students will gain an understanding of different approaches to ethical reasoning and decision-making. They will appreciate the importance and benefits of developing a culture of ethics. Students will build self awareness and develop leadership skills grounded in integrity and service.
Timeline
The Ethical Leadership digital badge will be issued twice each academic year, with earners receiving the badge at either the end of the fall or spring semesters.
To earn this badge by the end of Fall 2022, you will need to complete the course and submit your final reflection by December 9, 2022.
To earn this badge by the end of Spring 2023, you will need to complete the course and submit your final reflection by May 8, 2023.
